History

Our bank was originally licensed in Lebanon on 1962.
In 1973 it was taken over by Credit Suisse, Zurich which controlled 99.01
percent of shares under the name of Credit Suisse (Moyen-Orient) SAL –
Those same shares were acquired in 1988   by a group of prominent businessmen and
bankers headed by our current chairman to become Lebanese Swiss Bank sal.
Seeking to be spread on the Lebanese territory and to be closer to its clientele,
the bank started from two branches in 1988 and grew to its current network of actual branches
and ATMs in order to be conveniently accessible locally all while maintaining and growing a long
list of international correspondent banks.
